Areyour appraisers certified gemologists?

In short, yes. Although this is notan actual designation, 'certified gemologist' or'certified jewelry appraiser' have become the unofficialterms of the day. We more accurately refer to our professionals as Graduate Gemologists. They all graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and have various designations in valuation sciences from the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). We have the most qualified staff in San Diego.

What related associations do you belong to?

All of our appraisers are members of the San Diego Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). ASA has several designations - AM, ASA and MGA. Each of these designations requires extensive training and continuing education in order to maintain the status. ASA is the leader in all appraisal fields and is recognized and called upon by the US government to conduct a variety of valuation reports.
